The Newcomers' Club of Wellesley is a non-profit community organization founded in 1959 by Mrs. Harry Robert Lee. The primary purpose of the Club is to help new residents (families and individuals) become better acquainted with the Wellesley community, services, businesses and people. To achieve this, various activities for members are scheduled each month during the Club year (September - June). These activities are announced on this website and in The Bugle, the Club newsletter, which is published monthly during the Club year. Club events and activities planned for this year include:
Our goal is to help newcomers feel more like a part of the Wellesley community and meet others who are new to the area or the town. Club membership last year included over 170 families. Once they join the Club, members may remain in the Club for up to five (5) Club years. We invite you to join us whether you are a brand new resident of Wellesley or have lived here for a little while and now want to get more involved.
